How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the Service Daktar app on your device
2. Go to the Account section from the menu
3. Tap Delete account
4. Confirm your deletion request

Option 2: Email Request

Can't access the app? You can request account deletion via email:

Send deletion request email

Please include in your email:

• Subject: "Account Deletion Request - Service Daktar"
• Your registered email or phone number
• Confirmation that you want to delete your account

We'll verify your identity by sending a one-time code to your registered email/phone before processing the deletion.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account from Service Daktar, we will permanently remove:

• Your Firebase Authentication user account
• Personal information (email address, phone number, profile data)
• Study progress, test history, and scores
• Bookmarks and marked questions
• App preferences and settings
• Device notification tokens

What We May Retain

We may retain certain data for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes, including:

• Payment and transaction records (as required by tax and audit regulations)
• Records necessary for fraud prevention and security
• Minimal aggregate analytics data (anonymized)

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and associated data have been deleted. Backup systems and caches will be purged during their regular cleanup cycles.

Active Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription to Service Daktar:

• Cancel it in the app (Account → Delete account) before deletion, or
• Request cancellation assistance in your deletion email

Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. You may need to cancel through the payment provider (Razorpay) separately.
